Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy in Bozeman
My therapeutic approach integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), attachment theory, trauma-informed care, and neurodiversity-affirming practices.
I specialize in helping clients heal the invisible wounds that can accompany non-stereotypical Autism, late-identified neurodivergence, family of origin issues, and trauma:
Late-Identified ADHD & Non-Stereotypical Autism (AuDHD)
I work with high-masking adults who feel exhausted, lonely, unseen, confused, or completely overwhelmed beneath the surface. Many of my clients are late-identified ADHD, Autistic, or AuDHD adults navigating the unique pressures of moving through a world not built for their nervous systems. Others find themselves stuck in painful loops of overthinking, chronic people-pleasing, and relentless self-criticism.
Neurodivergent Burnout & Executive Dysfunction
Untangling the bone-deep exhaustion of chronic nervous system overload, and learning how to work with your natural wiring rather than constantly forcing compliance.
Rejection Sensitivity & Perfectionism
I view symptoms such as anxiety, perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, avoidance, and relationship difficulties as meaningful adaptations rather than personal flaws. Together, we explore the experiences, emotions, and protective strategies that shaped these patterns and work toward creating new ways of responding that feel more flexible and sustainable.
Attachment Wounds, Family of Origin Issues, Relational Trauma & CPTSD
Together, we will make sense of the survival patterns that once helped you protect yourself, dismantle the weight of constant masking, work through the compounding layers of Complex PTSD and build deep self-understanding and self-trust.
Who I Work With
I provide therapy for adults navigating burnout, anxiety, relationship challenges, attachment wounds, and the effects of trauma. Many of my clients are high-achieving, insightful individuals who appear successful on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted on the inside.
I specialize in working with late-identified ADHD, autistic, and AuDHD adults, as well as people healing from Complex PTSD, relational trauma, and attachment injuries. My clients often struggle with perfectionism, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, rejection sensitivity, chronic self-criticism, or recurring relationship patterns that leave them feeling stuck.
I also work with mixed-neurotype couples and individuals seeking to better understand how neurodivergence, attachment, and past experiences influence their relationships.
Whether you're navigating a recent diagnosis, recovering from burnout, healing from difficult relationships, or trying to create healthier ways of relating to yourself and others, therapy can provide a space for deeper understanding, healing, and growth.
My clients often seek therapy because they are experiencing:
• Burnout from years of over-functioning, masking, or meeting others' expectations
• Anxiety, overthinking, and difficulty slowing down
• Perfectionism and a harsh inner critic
• Relationship challenges, including conflict, emotional disconnection, or difficulty trusting others
• The effects of attachment wounds, emotional neglect, or relational trauma
• Complex PTSD and the lasting impact of difficult childhood or relationship experiences
• Rejection sensitivity and intense emotional reactions to criticism or conflict
• Difficulty understanding their needs, limits, or identity after a late ADHD, ASD, or AUDHD diagnosis
Many describe feeling caught between knowing what they "should" do and finding themselves unable to do it. Therapy helps bridge that gap with greater understanding, self-compassion, and practical change.
