Welcome to Wild Fire Psychotherapy
Therapy for Late-Identified Nuerodivergence, ADHD, Autism, AUDHD, & Complex Trauma
Is This You?
You may look successful on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted on the inside.
Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable adults who have spent years pushing through anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, or relationship struggles. They are often the people others rely on, caregivers, professionals, and deep thinkers who appear to have it together but privately feel stuck, misunderstood, or chronically overwhelmed.
I specialize in working with late-identified ADHD, autistic, and AuDHD adults, as well as individuals healing from attachment wounds, relational trauma, and Complex PTSD. Many have spent years masking, people-pleasing, over-functioning, or adapting to environments that never truly fit their needs.
Some clients come to therapy because relationships feel difficult. Others struggle with emotional overwhelm, rejection sensitivity, self-criticism, or burnout that doesn't seem to improve with rest. Many have already done significant personal work and understand their patterns intellectually but still find themselves repeating them.
You do not have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Sometimes the hardest part is acknowledging that what has helped you survive is no longer helping you thrive.
Providing you with a safe space to process
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, burnout, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, I offer a space where you can slow down, explore what’s happening beneath the surface, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that are ready to grow.

Carlynn Schwalm, MSW
Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Montana, and I’ve been providing therapy since 2020. I’ve worked with clients in university counseling centers, community mental health, and private practice, and I bring that breadth of experience into every session.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in respect for your story. Above all, I believe healing happens in safe, honest connection, and I’m here to walk alongside you with care, clarity, and compassion.
“It is only by putting it into words that I make it whole; this wholeness means that it has lost its power to hurt me;”
